The challenge

You have people that cook with their feelings and show love to others through cooking. For them, cooking is an expense, and need an income source to pay for their hobby. Some of them see cooking time, not as an expense but as something fun to do. On the opposite, there exist people that spend as little time as possible cooking. These people order expensive restaurant meals instead, or unhealthy ready meals. 30% of people in the Netherlands feel lonely (sometimes). What if we could help these types of people while making them less lonely at the same time?

The solution

We want to make meals more sharable, we want to create a platform where one can share meals with another. We want to be the place consumers go to when wanting a homemade meal without having to cook themselves. We want to give people the possibility to reserve a meal from a home cook with the possibility to pick it up or to dine with the cook at their dinner table to spark conversations and possible friendships. In future stages, it will also be possible to have the meal home-delivered.
