The challenge

You become a student, living alone, being independent, but you remember you have to eat three times a day. Not everyone has the resources neccesarly to eat nutricious meals every day. Lack of time, money or knowledge can result in poor decisions regarding your lifestyle, decisions which in the long term will cause various health problems. It should be effortless and affordable to have a wholesome meal.

The solution

Having an open fridge with ready meals in places popular with students (campus/dorms). Everyone can take a meal, paying is optional. The challenge of the idea comes down to the assumption that the people who pay will represent more than 75% in order to cover those who do not pay and to create a profit from which the scaling would be possible. Many experiments are required in order to see if anyone would give his money for something that is "free". By reducing the cost through few employees, essential ingredients, low marketing, results in the small price which should make the payment decision easier to make. The marketing strategy is to make people aware of the fact that if they do not pay, the idea will disappear, so paying a good price for a nourishing food is a benefit for them. The meals will be made by a third party.
